The appointee will (a) develop new marketing initiatives, such as social media, events or crossover collaborations to strengthen engagement with target audience; (b) enhance the image and visibility of the Department; (c) liaise with internal and external teams to ensure that tasks are completed and delivered on time; (d) facilitate the admission of programmes in the local, mainland and regional markets; (e) create, edit or produce publicity materials, including websites, leaflets, brochures, posters, etc.; and (f) perform other tasks as assigned by the Department Chairperson.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years’ hands-on public relations/marketing experience with marketing software and tools; (iii) an excellent command of English and Chinese (knowledge of Japanese will be advantageous); (iv) a creative/innovative and strong market-driven mindset; (v) solid experience in digital marketing via various marketing platforms (to leverage the programme brand image); (vi) a pleasant personality with good communication skills and team spirit; and (vii) excellent organisational and time management skills. Familiarity with tertiary education marketing and advertising would be advantageous.
