Mr. Mizoguchi is an established leader in the business community in Hong Kong. He was awarded the two prestigious awards from the Japanese government: the Foreign Minister’s Award in August 2015 and the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays honored by the Emperor of Japan in November 2017 for his contributions in fostering relationship between Japan and China; and promoting Japanese language. He has a long history of supporting the Department through providing student scholarships and supporting student activities.

With Mr. Mizoguchi’s support, the Department is expected to establish closer relationships with local and overseas Japanese business communities and strengthen exchange relationships with universities in Japan.
